The Family Health Centers is excited to invite you to a FREE, fun health event called “Walk with a Doc.” Led by Dr. Sydney Hendr.

Organized by Wellness Champions Dr. Sydney Hendry, Dr. Bailey Balentine, and Dr. Holly Musgrove, this doctor-led event is a fun and safe place to walk, learn about health, and meet new friends! The Family Health Centers is the Asheville chapter of this worldwide organization.

When:
Wednesday, March 8, 2023
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Future walks are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Where: Carrier Park – 500 Amboy Rd, Asheville (meet near the restrooms.)

What to expect: We’ll begin with a discussion led by Sydney Hendry, MD at 5:40 PM, followed by a one-mile walk around the Carrier Park track. Latecomers are welcome to join the walk at any time. Participants may walk at their own pace. Bring your own water bottle and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Please dress for the weather. Walking wraps up by 6:30 PM.

Who: Patients of The Family Health Centers and residents of the greater Asheville area, are invited to attend with their families and friends. Please leave pets at home.
