Please join us for our annual meeting, We are premiering a new video presentation about green-ways on the French Broad River as it runs through Asheville.
Connect Buncombe’s Annual Meeting is on Wednesday, January 27, at 5:30 p.m.! There’s no need to dress up this year, though. In fact, you don’t even have to put on socks—the event is virtual and will be hosted through Zoom (see link below).
Despite the many challenges of 2020, Connect Buncombe continued working hard to broaden awareness and support for local greenways, and we’d love to share our progress with you at our annual meeting. In addition, we’ll be premiering our new mini-documentary on the French Broad River Greenway, which, as you may know, was extended just last fall. The nine-minute feature took months of creative planning, and we’re quite proud of the result. It will be an important tool for boosting interest in the Buncombe Country greenway system for years to come.
Other meeting highlights will include:
- A look at CB’s accomplishments in 2020 and a preview of our goals for 2021
- A review of CB’s financials
- An introduction to the new CB officers and board members
- Recognition of key CB sponsors and supporters
